School of ART NewsWhere Critical Thinking Meets Creative Expression
Creative Hands, Giving Hearts
This past Thursday, School of Art got the wonderful opportunity to lead an ink and watercolor art project at the Ronald McDonald House near our community. This was the second time we were invited to create art in this home for children and their families and we cannot wait for the next art night with the Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope. This opportunity is so important to us, because we love helping student think critically about their art and possibilities for them to be creatively expressive. But we also love that we get the special honor of sitting with families and their children, to hear their stories and to take a minute to slow down and create art together.
Read more and see pictures of the event on the Alyssa Alvin Foundation’s website. Their mission is wonderful and we are so lucky to be part of this amazing charity.
